Great news on many fronts:
1 – Oreos have been carried back from Taiwan by my friend’s friend…they will be en route to Chicago soon.
2 – The holiday season has officially kicked off.

Apparently while I was away on my fancy dancy moon of the honey variety, the fun people in my department at work decided that there would be “superlative” awards this year. Examples of the superlative categories included, “Best Dresser” and “Biggest Jokester.” Now, here’s the amazing, great news. Guess who was nominated for “Has the best treats on her desk?” Uhhhh, yours truly! Which is amazing because I never really thought of the Oreos as treats…honestly. They have always been and will continue to be “happiness vehicles.” The only reason I continued to maintain the Oreo stock on my desk after the intial sharing of the Birthday Cake Cream filled Oreos was because I saw how happy it made people. And now the Oreos and I(by proxy) have been nominated for “best treats.” That makes me happy. I think the winners of each superlative category will be announced tomorrow evening so I will keep you posted. But even if we don’t win, mission accomplished – the Oreos have made people happy, as demonstrated by the nomination.

Other happiness comments today included, “Christmas makes me happy,” “Hanging out with Ana makes me happy,” and “You being back from your honeymoon makes me happy.”
